Once again residents of the Normanview neighbourhood went all out on holiday decorations with Candy Cane Lane.

This year 50 homes are taking part in the decoration extravaganza. The flagship home at 19 Champ Crescent has a display that boasts thousands of lights and about 50 inflatables.

Last year about 15,000 people visited Candy Cane Lane.

Candy Cane Lane has once again partnered with the Regina Food Bank for the holiday tradition, and entrance into the special Winter Wonderland is by donation.

“It raises some money for the community association, the food bank, as well as the food drive for the Food Bank,” said Candy Cane Lane chairman Mark Jaegli. “It’s very important this time of year. They need it pretty much all the time, but Christmas is really important.”

The attraction is open every night until December 27th.

A team of volunteers spend countless hours every year on the attraction.
